JOSPERS
Network for Travellers interested in Journeys of the Spirit
The web community called JOSPERS will be launched at the II Edition of JOSP Fest, Journeys of the Spirit, that will be held at the New Rome Fair Grounds from the 14- 17 January. JOSPERS will bring together a diverse group of travelers who will exchanges ideas, thoughts and their own personal experiences in an interactive forum. They will also be able to upload photographs and videos about their journeys. The web community, located at http://world.jospfest.com will include travelers who have already embarked on a journey of the Spirit, those interested in partaking on one and those interested in tourism that is spiritually enriching and ethical. Created by Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi, an activity of the Vicariate of Rome, Department of the Holy See, and organized by Quo Vadis, JOSP Fest sees the web community as way to reach out to the next generation of pilgrims who are at the center of the Festival. The experience of traveling helps young people to grow and find their identity. By being exposed to the diverse populations of the world and learning about their present situations, their struggles, aspirations and visions for the future, young people expand their horizons and discover the world. Together with TheBlogTV, which handled all of the logistical aspects, JOSP Fest will produce a documentary with the videos uploaded by the web community’s users, as well as the content of the four-day Festival. The documentary will later be broadcast in a number of different forums. JOSP Fest, the International Festival of the Itineraries of the Spirit, is an event that promotes the experiences tied to “journeys of the Spirit.” It represents a pilgrimage across continents and cultures and is the occasion to discover the beauty that the world offers to those interested in traveling and learning.
